What you'll do

Work alongside Solution Architects to assist the design of reliable and resilient services in accordance with industry best practices.
Understand the architecture vision and help translate the high-level architecture to solution components and capabilities and understand how components integrate with one another and how to make those integrations resilient and reliable.
You will work closely with stakeholders, architects, Business Analysts and Data/Test analyst to help detail the final solution components and remove ambiguity on stakeholder technical requirements.
You will assist and lead in the development of POCs to ensure that the final design is fit for purpose and can meet the expected requirements.
Ensure solutions designs are technically feasible and can deliver against business SLA’s and identify key risks and issues and ensure they are escalated.
Take ownership of the technical requirement analysis process for work items taken into the roadmap – evaluating risks, predicting potential problems, detailing service spec APIs and sequence diagrams.
Be able to manage the dependencies of requirements across multiple teams and departments.

What you'll bring

Experience working in a media investment and/or ad tech environment – with TV, Video, OTT, CTV and Programmatic (DSP/SSP)
In depth knowledge of full systems lifecycle.
Awareness of new technologies within the Broadcast Industry.
Appreciation of how different systems interact with each other through mechanisms such as, APIs, Message Queues, and Event Streaming etc.
Knowledge of video Ad serving and leading ad server technologies.
Understanding of Programmatic trading and Optimisation desirable
Communication – able to develop, present and defend recommendations. Credible to both IT and business users.
Stakeholder management – ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with business users.

Team overview

Ad-tech works closely with Sky Media to deliver technical and business change. We also work with other areas of Sky for cross department initiatives that impact advertising.

Ad-tech works with the business units to develop the IT strategy and define the detailed requirements for IT solutions across all areas of the business. This includes drawing up business cases for new proposals and defining their benefits, overall programme management for designated projects and liaison with the other entities of IT and the business to ensure effective delivery. People within the department provide thought leadership on how IT can develop and support Sky’s needs.
