An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Administration Assistant to join Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week .
What you will be doing:
With this exciting opportunity your main responsibilities will include:
- Raising numerous Coupa Purchase Orders, across all vendors and commodities
- Support engineering initiatives including recruitment / offload / training
- Assist allocation of IT assets and user support (password resets etc) CSR duties along with kit requests
- Mtg room management – check and provide necessary kit, liaise with IT on issues
- Team Centre / Webcentre transfers
- Arrange / book facilities for away days / travel and accommodation
- Archiving

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Good standard of numerical and communication skills – written and verbal
- Engineering background
- Experience in manipulating data using Microsoft Office based applications (e.g. Excel, Access) and in data inputting to bespoke database
- Takes responsibility for accuracy of own work with minimal rework
- Ability to understand and prioritise own tasks and be proactive suggesting / implementing improvements.
- Willing to take on additional tasks to accomplish deadlines
- Willing to take on additional tasks to enhance skills and knowledge

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business an individual has to hold Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the Business conducts and the protection of certain assets a person has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non ITAR country.
