This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Account Director to join Creative Assembly as part of a hugely talented and world-class development team in an innovative, professional, and dynamic environment. This role will be based at our headquarters in Horsham, in the heart of West Sussex.
As a Technical Account Director joining Live Services, you will be working in a close-knit and flexible team, helping to understand the needs and technicalities of our stakeholders. You will be working with our game teams and other stakeholders to help them define and evolve solutions that will be maintainable and scalable as our portfolio of exciting games continues to grow. You will also work closely with the product and engineering teams to help clarify our stakeholders needs, priorities and timelines.
The successful candidate for this role will be an excellent communicator, be comfortable and confident working with developers across the studio to understand their requirements, helping to establish good communication and documentation processes in a growing team. A passion for professional development and a commitment to teamwork is key for this position. Adept at communicating technically complex topics to non-technically minded colleagues.
Flexible working at Creative Assembly includes hybrid, fully remote within country of employment for eligible roles, and in-studio. We recognise that there is no one-size-fits-all approach and empower our teams to define the working patterns which work best for them, which may mean different things for different teams and roles and at different times.
This role can be offered as hybrid (1st Thursday of the month) / in-studio / fully remote within country of employment. Further details can be discussed during the recruitment process.

- Work with the wider Creative Assembly team and must be proficient in both technical and non-technical communication including documentation, trainings, design workshops, and refinement of technical solutions
- Work very closely with game teams at all levels, and both internal and external service / platform teams.
Essential
- Proven work experience as a Technical Account Director or related role
- Comfort with technical details
- Empathy and ability to understand and advocate for customers’ needs
- Ability to clearly communicate using a variety of methods to enable effective collaboration
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with games and online services
- Experience with agile processes
- Experience in scoping, implementing, and managing key metrics to monitor performance.
