We need people who recognise that quality of customer service, attention to detail and ensuring the health and hygiene at the farm is paramount. Our staff are required to be energetic, enthusiastic, responsible, trustworthy, hardworking and reliable. You’ll be joining at the start of an exciting period of investment and growth in the farm with lots of opportunity to learn and progress. INTERVIEW DATES - Applicants selected for interview will need to be able to attend a group session on either Wednesday 1st November or Thursday 2nd November 2023 from 4pm until 6pm. If successful you must then be able to attend induction training on Saturday 4th November 2023. Roles can vary on a day-to-day basis with each member of the team having their own responsibilities depending on the areas you are trained in; including: Admissions Gate Farm Gift Shop Play Barn Seasonal Attractions and Crafts Cleaning & Litter Picking Toilet Checks Seasonal Displays Key Responsibilities Maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and other team members. Following best practice standards for your area of responsibility – managing the tills, following operating procedures and engaging with customers to ensure they have a brilliant day with us. Working as part of a team with a common goal in mind – to delight our customers and provide an excellent service Key Requirements Experience of working in a customer facing environment is highly advantageous. Customer focused with a friendly and positive outlook is a must. A good standard of education is essential including literacy and numeracy. Location: Godstone Farm, Farm Limited, Tilburstow Hill Rd, Godstone RH9 8LX Job type: Contracts for these roles will be on a zero hour basis or with minimum guaranteed hours and we are able to offer a variety of shift patterns, including term time weekdays, weekends and school holidays, or a mix of flexible days to suit your circumstances. Our hours vary seasonally and are usually - Winter: 9am - 5pm, Summer: 9am -6pm with 30 minutes for lunch. Roles are available for a range of 8 – 40 hours per week. Some shifts require you to work weekends and Bank Holidays. Salary: £7.50 to £10.42 per hour
