Overview
Baked on the Beach is looking for full and part time team members to join our crews on the food and beverage vans on Woolacombe beach. The season spans from April to October but will take applications from those who wish to start later or finish earlier in the year. Although experience in the catering/hospitality industry is helpful, it is not required as we will teach you everything you need to know.
A normal shift starts at 8:30 or 10:00 and finishes at around 17:30. Be prepared to start earlier or stay longer during our busier periods. The vans are a fast paced but fun environment and you always work as part of a team. You will be given full training, so by the end of the summer, you will be able to take and serve orders, bake pasties and prepare barista style coffees.
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- A positive “can do” attitude.
- A willingness to learn.
- Ability to withstand an intense period of work (stand and be active during entire shift).
- Barista experience is preferred but not required.
- A good level of fitness in order to hitch the trailer/van daily.
Remuneration
- 21 and over £10.50 per hour
- 18 and over £9.50 per hour

Schedule
Full Time:
High-season: May Half term, Jul & Aug – up to 6 days per week, 8-10 hour shifts.
Mid-season: Apr, May, June, Sep, Oct – up to 5 days per week, 8 hour shift.
Part Time:
High-season: May Half term, Jul & Aug – up to 5 days per week, 8-10 hour shifts.
Mid-season: Apr, May, June, Sep, Oct – up to 3 days per week, 8 hour shifts.
