Job description

Avaliable Job Today Do you have a genuine interest in wine, and would you like to work in a fast-paced environmentwhere no two days are ever the same?

If the answer is yes, and you are driven and enthusiastic, then this fantastic opportunity to join one of Yorkshire’s leading Independent Wine Merchants could be just what you’re looking for.

About us

York Wines is located just outside Sheriff Hutton, about 8 miles north of York and has been trading for over 35 years. During this time, the business has grown into the busy importing, wholesale and retail business it is today. In 2022 the business moved to new, larger, purpose built premises, with a bigger retail space, which has enabled us to start running a regular series of tasting events.

We have at least two vans out on the road most days, delivering to our wholesale customers across a 50 mile radius. We also deliver wine to private retail customers, both across the UK via our third party courier partners, and more locally, delivered by our own drivers.

Our office hours are 08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday and 10:30 to 16:30 on Saturdays. Our physical shop is open from 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and 10:30 to 16:30 on Saturdays.
