If you are a talented Safety Lead in the automotive industry we have an opportunity you may be interested in.
This is the change to develop and deliver a comprehensive and aligned propulsion system Functional Safety strategy into the Calibration and Controls department where you will have the chance to work on new technologies, methods, standards, processes, people and organisation, hardware and software tools.
In particular, this will focus on Functional Safety processes for upcoming projects to ensure seamless transfer from development into delivery and validation, including close liaison with propulsion system Functional Safety software suppliers.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Work on ensuring Jaguar Land Rover has capable, effective and tools to support the Functional Safety calibration across propulsion system architectures.- Contribute to the test data acquisition, management and automated reporting
- Liaise with key suppliers, particularly as “Matched-pair” for software and calibration to ensure delivery of software supporting vehicle program gateways.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Knowledge of ISO26262 and/or other domain specific standards and regulations- Experience of validating safety goals through fault insertion techniques, ideally in Powertrain systems
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of Functional Safety in Automotive industry or other safety critical domain
