Job description
We are looking for a Transport Team Member to join us on our Micheldever contract in Greenford. As a Transport Team Member you will be responsible for the delivery, unloading and return of tyres from customers on a daily basis.
Shifts are Monday to Friday - 11:00 to 16:00 (25 hours per week)
Salary £14089.11
How will you contribute?
- Responsible for the delivery, unloading and return of tyres from customers daily.
- Ensure the manual unloading / loading of tyres is carried out In a timely manner.
- Ensuring all delivery and collection notes and paperwork are correct.
- Ensuring all transport legislation including drivers hours and defect reporting is adhered to.
- Collaboration with the wider team to continually improve ways of working & processes.
- Ensure all Legal, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Operational procedures are always adhered to ensure the safety of self and others.
- Report any injuries, accidents and any Health and Safety issues.
- Adhering to procedures and practises according to the training received.
- To participate and be involved in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement
- To carry out and other reasonable request as detailed by the transport management team.
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and wear uniform and any PPE provided.
What will you bring?
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Experience in driving is essential.
- Results orientated and can work to schedules .

- Able to lift and handle goods
- Good degree of literacy and numeracy
- Understands the basics of Health and Safety procedures
- Good communication skills and time management
- Customer service skills
