Job description

Weeding garden beds
Cutting and trimming/edging grass
Applying fertilizers, grass seeds etc. as directed
Rake & collect leaves, organic plant material and litter
Cart & spread topsoil, mulch and other materials
Write daily basic progress reports
Operate landscape maintenance equipment
Other duties as assigned

Salary:

All new crew members are initiated at $17/hour for the first 3-4 weeks.
The objective during this time is for the candidate to get acclimated to working with the crew, learning routines and machinery, becoming efficient with their time and adding value to the crew. You get to know us, and we get to know you.

As a new member, you will be expected to take on your fair share of responsibilities from Day 1. Progress will be monitored and upon completion of the first 3-4 weeks, a formal progress report is conducted to ensure your continued success.

Upon successful completion of the first progress report, hourly wages will increase depending on how many/what additional responsibilities you’re taking on.

Equipment & Machinery Experience

Weed trimmer/edger
Hedge trimmers & pruners
Chainsaw / Pole saw
Pick-up truck (driving, must be licenced)
Ride-on / Stand-on Mower & push mowers

Own Tools/Equipment

Reflective Vest (required)
Steel-toed safety boots
