What’s in a day?

We’re looking for big personalities + potential beer lovers to join the Stewart Brewing Team as part of our Front of House Team to help us spread the word of Stewart Brewing. This role is responsible for providing our guests with an amazing guest experience each and every time they visit the brewery.

What things can I expect to be involved in?

Working with our Bar, Kitchen + Taproom team you will be the face of our brewery serving guests with great pizza and beer providing an amazing Guest Experience evident of our standing as Midlothian’s no 1 Food + Drink destination on Trip Advisor.

You will maintaining a superb guest experience environment whilst upholding the highest standards of customer service outlined by our management team.

Primary duties in this role will be line in with general bar + restaurant duties.

What sort of hours will I work?

Predominantly weekends and evenings. Good availability for these hours is essential for the role.

The best bit about being part of the Stewart Brewing Front of House team?

Talking to like-minded people about great Food, great beer and the history of our brewery. Sounds great to us!

And the worst?

You will be on your feet almost all the time, finding the right way to engage with visitors is pivotal to success in this role. It is a very busy place most of the time.

What skills do I need?

You will have a passion for beer and maybe even our brand. We love beer and so do our customers., We think that previous experience with a beer or beverage serving environment is a must but are happy to be proved wrong.

But you do need to be comfortable and confident (and possible experienced with interaction with the public) looking after our guests and making sure they leave happy and eager to return.

Who would it suit?

Fun, confident, and enthusiastic personality who takes real pride in achieving exceptional guest service and providing an informative but entertaining experience for all involved.

Someone who can communicate effectively and freely with all levels of internal & external customers.

Most importantly you need to be adaptable, quick witted, reliable and punctual and committed to constantly evolving their knowledge our brand and beers while being able to reflect and learn from their experiences.

What sort of salary can I expect?

As Stewart Brewing is a Real Living Wage Employer, you will receive a good rate of pay alongside some of the other perks of working for a Brewery. Any tips received are distributed fairly throughout our Front of House team.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10 - 20 per week

Salary: £10.90 per hour
