Job Title: Billing & Collection Team Member
Location: Glasgow HQ/Prenton
Salary: £27,880 - £34,850

Our SP Energy Networks business is responsible for the distribution of electricity to your property via our network of pylons, substations, cables and power lines. We serve 3.5 million homes and businesses across Central & Southern Scotland, Cheshire, Merseyside, North Shropshire and North Wales.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide Billing & Collection activities to meet business needs.
  • Ensure the timeous billing & payment of accounts with minimum lapse of time after issue.
  • Manage Bankline process and update payments to SAP Accounts Receivable.
  • Monitor level of Credit Cover to match Value at Risk against Credit Status of energy suppliers.
  • Maintain fully effective best working practices for UoS Billing & Debt Recovery activities.
  • Assist with the provision of Cashflow & Debt Forecasts to meet business requirements.
  • Maintain robust & effective System Administration, Controls & Processes.
  • Develop and maintain good stakeholder relationships.
  • Update KPI measures and reports.
  • Cash-flow & Debt Forecasts delivered in line with business requirements.

What you’ll bring

  • Practical experience in related environment
  • Highly numerate with good analytical skills
  • SAP Knowledge is preferable
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • A self-starter with good time management to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks carried out timeously and in accordance with responsibilities.
