We are looking for a Wildland Firefighter to join our team and help protect our forests and wildlands from the dangers of uncontrolled fires. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to fire emergencies, assessing fire danger, implementing suppression tactics, and performing post-fire assessments. This is a physically demanding position that requires an individual with excellent physical fitness, an understanding of fire behavior, and the ability to work in extreme conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Be physically fit and able to work in extreme conditions.
- Understand and adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Have knowledge of fire behavior, fire suppression techniques, and firefighting equipment.
- Be able to identify hazardous materials and take appropriate action.
- Be able to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.
- Be able to communicate effectively with other firefighters and supervisors.

Contract length: 3 months
Salary: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
