Job description
Become part of an award-winning team at our family-run traditional fish and chip shop. We have vacancies for both full-time and part-time positions in our takeaway and restaurant. Lunchtime and evening shifts Tuesday to Saturday. (We are closed Sundays and Mondays). Training will be provided. We pay above the National Minimum Wage for all roles. Staff discounts are given.
We are looking for reliable individuals with good, friendly attitudes who must be organised and able to work under pressure, have excellent customer service skills and have a keen sense for maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be interacting with our valued customers both in the takeaway and in our restaurant.
- You will be learning how to fry and prepare the food to our high standard of quality.
- Setting up and clearing up after a shift, including stock-rotation etc.
- Maintaining a tidy workspace as you work.
- Taking payments and orders via our till, tablets and phone.
- Preparing drinks and side orders.
- Cleaning and sanitising to our Covid-19 Standards.
- Washing dishes and maintaining order in the kitchen.
- Attention to detail and organisation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £8.50-£12.50 per hour
