Keysoe International LTD a leading Equestrian Training Center is recruiting for a Grounds Team Assistant. The site covers over 500 acres of parkland, paddocks and equestrian facilities.

The role of the Grounds Team is to undertake work that keeps the Grounds at Keysoe International to the highest standard for all users. Due to the nature of the nature of the Equestrian & Events business, we are keen to hear from people with either an Agricultural, Estate or Grounds Maintenance background.

Role Objectives

• Use of ride of mower to cut grass across all of estate

• Strim grass to maintain professional looking lawns and edges across the estate

• Use of large grounds machinery across the estate including JCB, Ride on mower, Tractors and Sprayers

• Essential weeding and pruning of grounds flowers, shrubs and trees

• Preparing and maintaining all arena Grounds at Keysoe ready for competitions and training use

• Undertake general maintenance of machinery and equipment when trained to do so

• Ensure health and safety for all on site is in line with compliance

• Ensure stable areas are kept clean, tidy and in working order for all visitors to Keysoe

• Liaise with Line Manager regarding works needed for completion and ideas for improvements around Keysoe

• Essential tidying of all Grounds including litter picking, bin emptying and bulk waste clearance

• Work alongside contractors on site to ensure completion of works being undertaken

• Provide high class customer service to all customers and visitors to Keysoe

• Ad Hoc work around Keysoe where required

Person Profile

• Practical experience in Grounds / Agricultural / Estate Maintenance / Greenkeeping work ideal

• Full UK Driving Licence required

• PA1 / PA6 spraying training ideal

• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions

• Good communicator

• Works to a higher standard

• Ability to use own initiative

• Works well within a team
