Cocomelt is London is a dessert and speciality coffee cafe. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry to join our team.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry is required (at least 1 year)!
This is a customer facing role so an outgoing personality and a passion for customer service is ESSENTIAL.
Job description
As a team member at Cocomelt you are responsible for the quality of the guest experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers with a welcoming smile on arrival.
- Assisting customers with their order and being able to explain the menu passionately.
- Ensuring a topnotch presentation and display of our products.
- Maintaining cleanliness and ambience of our cafe.
- Adhering to health and safety standards
- Maintaining quality when its busy
- Preparing our desserts
- Ensuring everyone has clean cutlery and crockery.
- Waiting on tables
- Opening and closing of the store and performing required health and safety checks
- Taking payments and cash handling
