Job description
Carmacks Enterprises Ltd. is actively seeking Base Crew Personnel for our Municipal Division. This job will be based in Lac La Biche and surrounding area for the season. We are seeking experienced personnel for the following positions:
- Skid Steer Operators
- Labourers
What is the role?
- Operate skid steer.
- Fill out equipment check list before shift.
- Ensure that safety, compliance, environmental and DOT requirements are always followed.
- Load and unload construction materials, move to work areas.
- Install and maintain barricades on work site.
- Support Equipment Operators and Co-workers.
- Supply temporary traffic signaling and flagging support on work site.
- Level materials to fine grade specifications using rakes, shovels, and various small hand tools.
- Remove rubble, trash, and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
- Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators, tampers as well as various small powered and non-powered hand tools.
- Tending or feeding equipment used on work site, such as mixers, compressors, and pumps.
- Oiling, greasing, and cleaning site equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
