Biscuiteers is an award-winning luxury gifting brand, sometimes described as the ‘NET-A-PORTER of biscuits’. We launched in 2007 with the mission to offer a more unique, stylish and personalised gifting solution under the banner ‘why send flowers when you can send Biscuiteers?’ Every single biscuit is lovingly made from start to finish and each one is totally individual.
Our aim is to provide a seamless, joyful experience that delivers a little magic, one hand-iced biscuit at a time. We’ve grown enormously, particularly in the last 18 months. In 2022 alone, we hand-iced over 3.0 million biscuits and delivered them to customers all over the world.
We’re are looking to build our wonderful team as we head towards our busy time of year with a number of exciting projects we are working on.
Here is an opportunity to come and learn to ice like a Biscuiteer, with a paid 4 week training period.
You will need to be available fulltime from now (or before August) until Christmas 2023.
Who we’re looking for...
- Produce beautiful biscuits on our new industry-leading conveyor system – full training will be provided!
- Pack our biscuits into our beautiful packaging, in card boxes and tins.
- Work in small teams to support each other to complete the overall targets.
- Gain experience in bakery production and artisan manufacturing, health & safety, and food safety certificates.
- Comply with Health & Safety and adhere to food hygiene rules.
- Seasonal contract until December 2023.
- You will need to be able to offer 39 hours a week.
- Salaries start at £11.77 per hour (£10.50 per hour + holiday pay) moving to £12.33 per hour for Icing after training (£11.00 per hour + holiday pay).
You will need to …
- Be available full-time, offering flexibility as we operate shifts between the hours of 7am -9.30pm at peak times.
- To have a positive, flexible approach and be a team player.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen ideall, although not essential.
- The ability to communicate effectively with all team members.
- To be punctual and reliable.
- Previous experience of working in a kitchen would be ideal, however not essential.
- A love of biscuits is a must!
