Logistics Team Members
Full Time Based in Wokingham
Monday to Friday, AM Shift Pattern 0700-1530
Salary: £23,500-£25,000

Avia Technique, a growing aviation safety specialist based in Wokingham, Berkshire are looking for two people to join their busy Logistics team, in Goods In and Despatch. As a member of the Supply Chain team you will be joining the largest team at Avia Technique, responsible for making sure that we are providing an efficient and effective service for the company and its customers.
Goods In team members carry a pivotal role receiving goods sent from customers, suppliers and our global partners. The first set of eyes on the items arriving for maintenance, exchange or salvage, you will be the first link in the chain of services. You will be cross referencing items against expected deliveries, checking quantities against paperwork and making sure that each and every item is received carefully and correctly.
A Despatcher is critical to our business - the last set of eyes on items before they return to customers, the last opportunity to check quality and contract deadlines You will be responsible for checking all goods against order sheets, ensuring that both item and paperwork are packaged with care and attention. You will be responsible for organising outbound transport ensuring our customers receive their goods in good time using our own drivers or courier networks. You will be well organised, able to manage workloads and prioritise tasks in order to meet strict deadlines. There will be times you will be required to support the driver team, a full valid driving licence and a confidence driving a van is essential.
