About You and the Role within Hillingdon
An exciting opportunity for a Team Leader role has arisen within 3 Colham Road, a purpose build residential setting for 13 residents with learning disabilities and complex health needs. The home offers a warm and comfortable environment, that acknowledges each resident’s uniqueness, empowering them to participate in their care and treatment.
3 Colham road recognises the importance of social activities, which ultimately focuses on sensory experiences, that are based upon or residents’ preferences and aspirations.
As a Team Leader at 3 Colham road, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated support workers alongside the Registered Manager.
You will lead shifts as the duty senior, facilitate, and participate in staff meetings, staff training, supervision, appraisals, and development activities. You can also expect to administer medication, carry out assessments and care plans.
All staff at 3 Colham road, will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well playing their own part in establishing an environment that’s warm, welcoming, and comfortable.
You should have a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) with 3 years previous experience in providing care at a similar level. You will be familiar and experienced in the safe administration of medication and be committed to providing person centred care to residents.
