Team Leader Nights (Street Cleansing and Waste collections)
Salary: £17ph plus access to veolia benefits and company pension.
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Nights 21.30pm - 06.00am plus 2 weekends per month.
Location: Westminster (3 vacancies available)

What you'll be doing as the Team Leader;
● Assist your Manager to ensure that the daily checking of vehicles, barrows and other equipment checks are completed at the commencement of each shift and that the appropriate forms are correctly completed.
● Ensure that you and the workforce maintain a courteous and professional relationship with members of the public, client staff and amongst themselves.
● Ensure that all staff are given the appropriate worksheet, round/beat sheet and map relating to their specific daily tasks with any amendments or variations and that they fully understand these tasks.
● Ensure that all staff have the correct level of tools and equipment in a serviceable condition to carry out their duties.
● To ensure that any accident involving any employee, vehicles or equipment is fully investigated and that all documentation is produced and presented to your Manager.
● Be fully conversant with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, ensure it is implemented and carry out ongoing training with the workforce.
● Undertake daily contract monitoring surveys and assist with generating associated reports as necessary.
● To assist your Manager in ensuring that all vehicles, items of plant and equipment are cleansed at least weekly or as shown in the cleansing schedule.
● On completion of daily work, ensure that the workforce have been correctly signed off, all routes, maps, worksheets and log sheets are returned and duly completed and signed.
● To cover for the Manager as and when necessary.
What we're looking for;
● Previous waste management experience is desirable.
● Previous management experience.
● A strong communicator with the ability to work well under pressure.
● Good time management and organisational skills.
● Some IT Knowledge
● HGV class 2 licence (Desirable)
