Sausage Production Operatives wanted in Bury St Edmunds

PAY: Up to £13.98 per hour

HOURS: 6am to 2.30pm

DAYS: Monday to Friday

Job Title: Food Production Line Leader

Job Summary:

Direct Table Foods Ltd is looking for a skilled Food Production Line Leader to oversee our food production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the production line is operating efficiently, meeting production targets, and maintaining product quality. As a Food Production Line Leader, you will lead a team of production workers, ensuring that they are following safety protocols and standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining production records and reporting any issues to management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the production line and ensure that production targets are met

Monitor production processes to ensure that products meet quality standards

Train and supervise production workers, ensuring that they are following safety protocols and standard operating procedures

Maintain production records and report any issues to management

Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and that any issues are reported immediately

Ensure that the production area is clean and organized at all times

Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production goals are met

Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands

Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in a food production environment

Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of food safety regulations and standard operating procedures

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time
