For our customers, William Hill is more than a betting shop. It’s a home from home. A place where you can meet friends, socialise, and enjoy the sport with a warm tea or coffee in hand.
If you can help us maintain this atmosphere, we’ll reward you plenty. You’ll enjoy continuous training, great benefits as well as opportunities to progress.
What this role is about
  • Motivating a team of Customer Service Assistants
  • Coaching your team and developing their potential
  • Making sure the shop always looks the part (e.g. visual displays)
  • Getting to know your customers to champion safer gambling at all times
  • Taking care of opening and closing in our shops
  • Making sure your shop hits its targets
This isn’t a hide-behind-your-desk type of role. You’ll be out there on the shop floor, engaging with our customers to ensure we’re delivering the best experience.
What we’re looking for
  • Supervisory experience
  • Great people skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Professional and dynamic approach to work
  • Age 18+ (it’s a legal requirement)
If you have a passion for racing and sport, that would obviously help. But don’t worry if you’ve never worked in our industry before. By the end of our training, you’ll know everything there is to know.
Why do this role?
Training and development. Our induction programme is best-in-class. What’s more, we’ll upskill you with external and on-the-job training throughout your time here.
Career prospects. If you want to progress even further (e.g. as a Business Performance Manager or into a Head Office role) there are opportunities to do that.
Salary. We recognise high performance with incentives and, there’s the opportunity to earn a quarterly performance bonus too.
Holiday. On top of your 28-day holiday allowance, you’ll get a paid day off for your birthday too.
Pension plan. We’ll match your pension contributions to 4%.
Subsidised travel. We can offer you money off your travel expenses too for roles in London.
Staff discounts. When you’re part of William Hill, you’ll enjoy great discounts in high street shops, cinemas and even holidays.
