Responsibilities and Duties as a Team Leader:
· Training new starters for both front of house and back of house.
· To monitor progression of your team and update management on the progress, then advising where improvements need to be made or on progression.
· Supporting your manager to ensure the store is running efficiently and effectively.
· Looking for opportunities to improve customer service and store revenue.
· Enforcing compliance regulations including hygiene.
· Support your manager to reach financial targets and budgets.
· Ensuring staff are checking in and out when necessary, customer service on the shopfloor is at its highest level, products are being created in accordance to the brands operation manual, the correct uniform is being worn and the store is being represented in the correct manner.
· Engage with customers using your communication skills.
· Ensuring the correct cashing up process is being followed and all security criteria are being met.
· Become hands on when and where necessary to ensure the store is operating at its highest level.
· Completing stock takes on time and ensuring the stock rooms are organised. During stock deliveries instructing the team to be put away the stock correctly using FIFO.

· Investigate issues and areas of low production then putting measures in place to ensure these problems do not arise again.
· Overseeing shopfloor duties are you sure in the store is running efficiently and effectively.

· Ensuring stores paperwork and filing is up-to-date.
· Looking for area of weakness within the store or shift and assisting where necessary to strengthen the stores production.
· Taking control of the shop floor during busy periods ensuring customer services at its highest level and store operations of being followed.
· Ensuring all checklist, maintenance duties, closing down procedures and HACCP are being completed
