Teaching Assistants required for Spaxton Primary School
Fixed term initially until August 2023, pending funding and staffing review
· Post 1: Full-time 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 days (39 working weeks per year) - Actual pro-rated starting salary £15,586pa based on Grade 15 full-time equivalent £20,812pa
· Post 2 : Part-time 27.5 hours per week, term time only (38 working weeks per year) - Actual pro-rated starting salary £12,850pa based on Grade 15 full-time equivalent £20,812pa
Both posts have possibility of additional hours to support with lunchtime supervision and wraparound provision for both roles

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants at Spaxton Primary School to work alongside the class teacher to provide a stable, caring and supportive learning environment, which enables pupils to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
The core purpose of the role is to work with the class teacher to ensure all pupils are engaged in their learning and are making sustained progress. As well as promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
A passion for helping children and the ability to build connections and relationships are key as full support and training are available for a successful applicant.
