TEACHING ASSISTANT
Local Government Pay Spine – Grade C Point 2
Actual Salary £ 13,444.69
Required as soon as possible
Required for 28.42 hours per week (8.35am to 3.10pm Monday to Friday) covering term time (39
working weeks) due to increased demand.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, understanding and committed teaching assistant to join our
dynamic Inclusion team, to work with students who may have educational, behavioural or physical
needs. A good knowledge of the curriculum at KS3 and 4 is desirable and the ability to teach small
groups would be beneficial. A professional, flexible, empathetic, sensitive outlook is required.
Following our graded inspection under Section 5 of the Education Act 2005 on 27 and 28 September
2022, we were delighted and proud to have been judged good overall and outstanding for our sixth
form. Ofsted states: “Leaders have high expectations for every pupil’s behaviour and attainment.
Pupils and students are polite and helpful”.
Chenderit is an oversubscribed and very successful school located a few miles from Banbury and
with easy access to the M40.
