Job introduction
Paid weeks per year: 47.15 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.45am - 3.15pm plus requirement to attend weekly staff meetings.

At the Connected Hub we are looking for a highly skilled, passionate, Level C Teaching Assistant with experience of working with year 11 SEMH pupils. Purpose: to facilitate the learning and progression of students by addressing the barriers to learning presented by attendance, behaviour and/or social circumstances.
About the role
Your role will be:
- Working under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to implement agreed work programmes with individuals / groups, in or out of the classroom. This will involve assisting the teacher in the planning cycle and the management / preparation of resources.
- Liaising with pupils and parents/carers to set up sessions and bespoke timetables at The Connected Hub or at libraries.
- You may also supervise whole classes occasionally during the short-term absence of teachers. The primary focus will be to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task, respond to questions and generally assist pupils to undertake set activities.
- You will deliver some aspects of a PSHCE curriculum to small groups
- The post involves oversight of the PASS programme (Pupil Attitudes to Self and School)
