TEACHING ASSISTANT
Band 3 (points 6-11) + SEN Allowance
Point 6 - £21,968 FTE. Actual salary £18,701 + £1,192 SEN Allowance
36.25 hours per week, term time oinly + INSET days

Due to an expansion of our team, Sale High School is looking to appoint a number of roles – Teaching Assistants to support students in their progress and attainment.

About the Role:
- To work under the direct instruction of SENCO, teaching/senior staff to:
- Support students with their learning in lessons, helping them stay focused and providing more help as needed for different tasks and activities
- Support individuals and groups of students with work to help them improve or catch up in specific areas
- Provide support to the teacher as needed in class, with teaching and learning
About You:
No previous experience of education or working with children/young people is required, and we will provide the training you need to get off to a great start in this role.
You will need:
- Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C/4 or above)
- To be able to work effectively as part of a team
- A passion for working with children and young people
