The ideal Teaching Assistant will have: Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, supporting children or young adults with special educational needs and mental health challenges, preferably in an educational setting. Understanding of various special educational needs (SEN) and strategies to support students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse needs. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing demands of the role and support various students. Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs, mental health, or related fields (desirable).
