Initial 1-Year contract commencing September 2023
£85-£90 per day/ £425-£450 per week | Paid PAYE
Mainstream Secondary School in Croydon – [11-19]
Working with 11-16 year olds with SEND needs
Permanent contracts available from September 2024 (or before)

Psychology Graduate | SEND Teaching Assistant | Job Description

Providing classroom support to 4-16 year olds with Autism Spectrum Condition, Speech and Communication Difficulties, ADHD and Social Anxieties.
Planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals and groups of students.
Monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil achievement, progress and development.
Building core skills and supporting a strong knowledge base through a tailored approach to the individual needs of the pupils.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, carers and family.

This SEND Teaching Assistant role will require a motivated, determined, resilient and dedicated Psychology Graduate who is ready to fully embrace challenge and who approaches set-backs with a positive, can-do attitude. Previous experience working with young people and an excellent working knowledge of Psychology will be advantageous in this role.
