- Initial 1-Year contract commencing September 2023
- £85-£90 per day/ £425-£450 per week | Paid PAYE
- Mainstream Secondary School in Croydon – [11-19]
- Working with 11-16 year olds with SEND needs
- Permanent contracts available from September 2024 (or before)
Psychology Graduate | SEND Teaching Assistant | Job Description
- Providing classroom support to 4-16 year olds with Autism Spectrum Condition, Speech and Communication Difficulties, ADHD and Social Anxieties.
- Planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals and groups of students.
- Monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil achievement, progress and development.
- Building core skills and supporting a strong knowledge base through a tailored approach to the individual needs of the pupils.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, carers and family.
This SEND Teaching Assistant role will require a motivated, determined, resilient and dedicated Psychology Graduate who is ready to fully embrace challenge and who approaches set-backs with a positive, can-do attitude. Previous experience working with young people and an excellent working knowledge of Psychology will be advantageous in this role.
