We are currently recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to work on a full-time basis in primary schools in from September 2023.
We have full-time Primary Teaching Assistant opportunities across all primary age groups (EYFS/KS1/KS2). As a Teaching Assistant you will be supporting children and teachers in a variety of ways.
In the early years (3 - 5) you will support children with play based learning, early reading and phonics and learning numbers and letters.
In the primary age groups (KS1/KS2), you will be based in a more structured classroom supporting children to access learning activities across English, Maths and various other subjects.
Many of the roles we have are for Primary Teaching Assistants to work with a specific child or children with special educational needs (SEN). This will involve building relationships with them, adjusting activities and helping them to focus in class and work with other children. Whilst an understanding of SEN is helpful, many of our teaching assistants gain experience on the job and with training and guidance from teachers and school leaders in their placements.
We are currently looking for Primary Teaching Assistants who can commit to a full-time position (8.30am to 4.00pm Mon - Fri) from September 2023 - July 2024.

You will need an Enhanced DBS certificate to work with children (don't worry if you haven't got one, we can help you get one) and 2 references covering the past two years.
Most importantly you need a caring, dedicated and professional approach to working with young children.
