Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Sevenoaks, Kent
Pay rate: £85 a day
Pathway Education is working with a “Good” rated school in Sevenoaks, Kent that is looking for a full-time Teaching assistant to work with young people with SEMH (nurturing needs). Pupils are taught in small classes and need extra academic and social support to keep them on track in class.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with previous school experience or someone looking to get experience as a teaching assistant if your background is from another sector. The school is looking for a confident, patient, nurturing, and resilient teaching assistant that can work well with pupils in small groups and 1:1. Suitable pastoral assistant candidates:
· Will have previous school experience, or somebody that has been working with young people as a youth worker, mentor, sports coach, or social worker)
· Will be flexible, proactive, reliable, patient and a good team member with a sense of humour
· Having your own transport is desirable due to the location of the school and there being no public transport services nearby
· Can work Monday to Friday (8.45am – 4.00pm)
