Job description
We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to provide support to a child with an Educational Health Care Plan. The successful candidate will ensure that the child they support makes excellent progress in all areas of a carefully modified curriculum, which doesn’t limit ambition, as well as providing support to the class teacher to ensure excellent learning outcomes.

Teaching Assistant Temporary Contract 32.5 hours per week
Salary: Grade 3 Point 6-9 (£20812 -£21968 FTE)

We are looking for a person who will:
- have at least a Level 2 qualification in working with children or young people;
- commit to our Christian values of caring, respect, commitment to achieve, fairness, respect and co-operation and will be sympathetic towards our church school ethos.
- help us to achieve our aim of outstanding education for all;
- have experience in a Primary setting;
- have an understanding of how to support learning of pupils with additional needs including Autism.
- be able to follow a structed plan, based on the EHCP, to ensure excellent outcomes for the young person they are working with.
