Lark Hall Primary School is looking for outstanding and motivated individuals to join the Woodlark Autism Provision in the role of Teaching Assistant to start September 2023.
You will work in a class of up to 8 pupils, all with a diagnosis of autism, and be part of a team with three other staff including class teacher and 2 other members of support staff.
Key tasks will include ensuring organisation of the class and delivery of interventions and strategies suited to the needs of children with a diagnosis of ASD.
We are looking for motivated individuals with:
o A passion for providing educational experiences which ensure that all learners achieve.
o Prior experience of working with autistic children.
o Ability to work as a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
o Initiative and the ability to be reflective practitioners who can act upon the advice of colleagues to improve the educational outcomes for the children that they work with.
