• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons, with a focus on humanities subjects such as history, geography, and social studies.
• Work with individual and small groups of students to reinforce learning and provide additional support as required.
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel safe, valued, and respected.
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher and SEN coordinator to support students with additional needs, such as those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or dyslexia.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to the classroom teacher as required.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a humanities subject (history, geography, social studies, etc.)
• This position would be perfect for a recent graduate looking to get in the field!
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning and development of all students
• Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
