£ HBC Scale 4 (SCP 07 -11) £22,369-£24,054 per annum
The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant with ability to work across the primary age range
Applicants must be highly motivated and willing to work as part of a team.
Successful candidates will be working initially in class for maths and English lessons but can be working across the school to implement interventions during the day. Therefore, experience of both KS1 and KS2, including the teaching of phonics (RWI) would be desirable.
This is a caring Church of England School and applicants must be willing to promote and support our Christian values and ethos.
The successful candidates will need to be good classroom practitioners who are able to nurture, inspire and motivate children. They must be able to work with the class teachers to drive standards and help children to reach their potential. They will be able to work independently to provide support to small groups, deliver interventions under the supervision of the class teacher and show initiative in supporting learning and maintaining a productive learning environment.

This post would suit an experienced and suitably qualified TA (at least 12 months experience) or alternatively would suit a recently qualified teaching graduate who is looking for classroom experience before embarking upon their teaching career.
