Our two-form entry primary phase opened in September 2019 and we have now completed our brand new state-of-the-art development on the secondary site. New facilities include a three-storey teaching block containing 22 classrooms and SEND hub, a fully refurbished Post 16 Learning Centre and a floodlit all-weather sports pitch to complement our already extensive sporting facilities.
Teaching Assistant (Autism Facility) – required to start in September 2023.
Teaching Assistant: 30 hours per week – Term Time Only – Monday to Friday 08.45am to 15.15pm.
Salary: Single Status Grade 3 – £20,812 per annum (actual starting salary: £14,619 pa)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 5 hours – Term Time 15.15pm – 16.15pm To be discussed.
We are looking for a passionate, adaptable and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team supporting students from our specialist Autism Facility. The successful candidate will be working with students with learning, communication and emotional needs. Experience and knowledge of supporting students with Autism is an advantage but not essential. Training will be provided.
We are seeking a calm and proactive individual with the skills to create a positive learning environment whereby students are engaged, motivated and supported to access the mainstream curriculum and be successful. Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
We are also looking for one member of the facility team to become our Interventions Lead. Working alongside the Autism Lead and Lead TA the successful candidate will be responsible for remaining up to date with implementing and monitoring the interventions program for individuals/groups which could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas. We are looking for a highly organised and creative individual who is able to work under pressure and has a good understanding of how to plan activities which work towards achieving specific targets.
