Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Newham, East London Salary Scale: up to £90 a day Start Date: ASAP : Temp to Perm Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who aspires to be a Teacher? GSL Education is currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant for one of our client Primary schools in East London. The school is looking for someone who can start ASAP and has experience working with individuals and small groups of children. About Teaching Assistant role: You will be working closely with the class teacher in KS1 to motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential. Supporting children with special educational needs Individual support should be provided to students in small groups to ensure learning is taking place Ideal candidates will: Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant. Support pupils who have special educational needs Have basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children of various ages Be helping pupils to increase their confidence and self-esteem by listening to them and devising appropriate strategies. Have Good communication and interpersonal skills.
