Great Chesterford C. of E. Primary Academy is a happy and positive school looking to appoint effective and enthusiastic 1:1 Learning Support and Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team for September. We are a successful village school with wonderful children and a talented staff team.
1:1 Learning Support Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to support a child with identified social, emotional and learning needs in Key Stage 1. This is a full time post but a job share will be considered. Successful candidates should be calm, patient and able to work flexibly, taking direction from the class teacher and SENCO in adapting provision. The role also includes supporting our Midday Assistant team.
Previous experience of working with children is desirable, but not essential. The school will be able to offer full training to the right candidate.

Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants
We have vacancies for enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our school in September. We have two part time posts, both also include supporting our Midday Assistant team. The working patterns are:
Role 1: 5 mornings and 3 afternoons per week
Role 2: 2 full days (Thursday and Friday) per week
Successful candidates will be required to work flexibly, taking direction from the class teacher and SENCO in adapting and planning activities to help children progress. The role includes working with individuals and leading small intervention groups, using planning by our expert teachers.
Previous experience of working with children is desirable, but not essential. The school will be able to offer full training to the right candidates.
