We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join us to manage a number of properties and provide appropriate and relevant support to our residents.
The Role
As our Support Worker, you will ensure that the property they reside in is safe and that the support enables and empowers them to move through our services and transition to permanent accommodation.
Your purpose will be to advise and, where necessary, signpost and assist the residents with day-to-day skills to motivate and encourage them, to reach their goals by liaising with external agencies and / or other charities to support those goals where necessary.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
A social or health care background is preferred
The ability to plan and organise your own time effectively, create own work schedules, prioritising, preparing in advance and setting of realistic timescales
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment
Patient, tactful, diplomatic and approachable
Good IT skills and experience of the Microsoft suite of products
A full Driving Licence is essential.
