Contract type: Fixed term, for one year, with the possibility of extension – starting 1st September 2023
Location: Gayton Junior School, Gayton Avenue, Littleover, Derby, DE23 1GA
We are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants who have experience of working with children with a range of academic needs in the Key Stage 2 classroom. The successful candidates will enjoy working with children, have a good level of education themselves, work well in a team and be pro-active, flexible and committed to improving the learning opportunities for children.
The successful applicants will work from 8.30am to 4.00pm on Monday to Friday.
Whilst we expect some level of expertise at NVQ Level 3 equivalent or above, training opportunities will also be provided.
