Cygnets Art School West Brighton are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and reliable teachers assistant to help run our classes! Please read all the information below before applying, as this is a part-time, freelance position, and may not be suitable for everyone.
Cygnets is a fine art school franchise for children, based in the UK. We teach traditional drawing, painting and sculpture, combined with unique projects; experienced teachers, and professional quality materials. Classes are run for ages 5-12 after school and weekends during term time, as well as every half term and school holiday.
The successful candidate will help assist the teacher with all classes (both term time and holiday) at the West Brighton branch, for groups of up to sixteen students. As well as helping with the marketing of the business when required, such as flyering local schools and businesses.
This role would suit a creative individual, who enjoys helping children and looking for teaching experience in the artistic industry, but with the flexibility of minimal hours that can fit around other commitments.
Holiday Hours: Starting Easter Half Term 2023
Tuesday and Wednesday, 4th, 5th (at Brighton Girls School), 11th and 12th of April (at New England House),10:30am - 2pm
Term Time Hours:
Saturday morning classes, starting 29th April 10am -11:30, at Brighton Girls School
Tuesday after school classes, starting 2nd May, 4:30pm -5:30, at Unit 1 Level 5, New England House
Wednesday after school classes, starting 3rd May, 4:30pm - 5:30, at Unit 1 Level 5 New England House
Then ongoing each term (10 weeks/term | 3 terms/ year)
Then ongoing each half term (3 x weeks per year); Easter Holiday (2 x weeks per year), and Summer holiday (5 x weeks per year).

Salary: £15.00 per hour
