SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Shrewsbury, SY2
Duration: Full time post, Temporary Contract
Salary: £75-95 per day (DOE)
The School/role:
We are recruiting for a SEN school in the Shrewsbury area that are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with them on a full-time basis. The school are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and ability working with Special Needs children.

‘Our children and young people are aged 2.5 to 19 and have a range of learning difficulties. These include moderate, severe, complex and profound learning difficulties, those with autism, complex medical conditions and physical and mobility difficulties. A number of our young people present behavioural difficulties arising from their condition; many have communication difficulties.’

Requirements:
· Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
· SEND school-based Experience
· A wide range of Complex, Physical, Emotional, SEN, ASD, ASC, and SLD experience
· Child and Adult Workforce DBS
· Available for September 2023
· Level 1 safeguarding certificate
· Recent school-based references
· Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
· Full DBS – registered on the update service
