Working Pattern: 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (0.856 FTE)
Salary: £20,980 - £23,945 based on Ark Support (Outer London) Band 5. Scale points 5 – 13 (£24,498 - £27,961)
Start date: July/August 2023

About the role:
We are recruiting an exceptional Teaching Assistant to support high quality teaching and learning, and excellent levels of pupil progress. You will have experience of establishing successful learning relationships with a variety of pupils at primary age and be committed to Ark’s ethos of high expectations and no excuses. You will be instrumental in our mission to provide every pupil, regardless of their background, a great education and real choices in life.

As a Teaching Assistant you will also assist with whole class teaching and provide cover for the teacher as required.

You may also be required to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), along with pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL). You will also play a key role within the academy to promote pupil well being.

You may be asked to undertake basic First Aid / Medical duties and be assigned children with specific needs to care for which may include intimate care.

The successful candidate will be supported in their development and will have access to network training.
