About Us
Ramsbury Primary School, near Marlborough, is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant with an additional roles.This position is working Monday to Friday, term time only. We have been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted and we are an English Hub. In these exciting times for our school, we are looking to recruit a new member of staff to join our team.We are a very successful one-form entry school situated in a lovely, thriving and supportive village, easily accessible from Swindon (20 minute drive) or East Wiltshire. Visits are welcomed and warmly encouraged.
Teaching Assistant Vacancy, with a Midday Supervisory Assistant role and After School Club Assistant role.
Duties
- Supporting pupils learning, either in groups or through 1:1 work.
- Supporting pupils self esteem, inclusion and behavioural development.
- Provide physical/personal care to pupils where required.
Supporting the Teacher/s.
- Supporting the curriculum.
- Supporting the school.
Desired skills
- Sensitivity and understanding for building good relationships with children.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for motivating children to learn.
- Active listening skills to understand the childrens' needs.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- English and Maths Grade C+
