Main roles and responsibilities
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Planning, coordinating and executing test-related activities.
- Splitting your time between manual testing and writing automated tests.
- Creating and maintaining automated tests using a popular programming language (such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby) and framework (Playwright, Appium).
- Documenting and prioritising bugs, and working with the team to resolve issues.
- Communicating with stakeholders to better understand business and technical priorities.
- Promoting a culture of quality across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in both manual and automated testing within a fast-paced agile environment.
- Expertise in testing web applications and implementing automated tests such as Playwright, Cypress, BDD/Gherkin
- Experience working with a programming language such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby.
- Some knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Github Actions
- An understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Previous experience working with a test management tool is a plus e.g. BrowserStack, SauseLabs.
- Experience with IoT device testing is a plus.
- Experience with mobile testing is a plus e.g. Appium.
This position is a hybrid between working from home and office in Chiswick London. You may be required to come to the office on Tuesday to Thursday with flexible time (negotiable).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £1,500.00-£2,000.00 per month
