A fantastic special school in Lewes are looking for a SEND Teacher.
Our school is in need of a teacher to work with students in a specialised setting. The school is well established with a fantastic support structure in place. A successful candidate will be inspiring and a role model to pupils, with excellent interpersonal skills, superb teaching manner, strong classroom management, and the willingness to conduct the full teaching cycle at all times with both pupils and staff in a school environment.
Whilst previous experience of working in a long-term teaching role would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important. We need people who share our vision to build incredible futures by empowering young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world!
The successful candidate will:
- Have completed a PGCE or obtained QTS (ideal)
- Have experience working with SEND (either in special or mainstream setting)
- Have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Be passionate and enthusiastic
- Be invested in pupil achievement

- Flexible days or full-time
- 0830-1530
- Pay to scale - £25,714 to £41,604 (long-term) or £125 per day short-term (day to day, weekly)
- Monday to Friday availability
