George Pindar School is an 11-16 secondary school situated in Scarborough. We are a community school where our colleagues are #proudtobepindar and we are looking positively to the future. We are proud to be an inclusive school and we are oversubscribed in Year 7 and 8. The development of the whole child forms an integral part of our vision; we want the best for every student at George Pindar irrespective of their background. We work together as #TeamPindar to develop our PINDAR values and are well supported by colleagues across the Hope Sentamu Learning Trust to improve in all aspects of our school.
We are now seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic teacher of Mathematics to join our School. You will be joining our team at an exciting time as we continue our post-academisation journey to good. The maths faculty comprises an incredibly supportive Head and Second in Faculty who have a wealth of experience in supporting new members of our team. The maths faculty is characterised by collaboration and staff development and is ably supported by our Trust Director of Maths. The maths mastery approach is being embedded this year to provide students with firm foundations for future success and our results continue to improve. Staff are open to new initiatives and ideas. Innovation is at the heart of our development. There are opportunities to contribute to the wider school community through work as a form tutor and through whole-school initiatives.
