Grade: MPS 1-6 / UPS 1-3 (£28,000- £43,685 per annum).

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

St Thomas More Catholic School is a co-educational Catholic Academy which provides for the education needs of 11-18 year old pupils from the west of Gateshead L.A. We are part of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle and have a strong commitment to Catholic Education.

Our school aims to provide a stimulating and encouraging environment within which students can attain the highest standards of which they are capable, and to assist them in taking their place in the world outside school in a useful and fulfilling career, with a firm sense of Christian commitment. We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Food Technology to join St Thomas More Catholic School. The successful candidate will be a strong classroom practitioner who has the ability to motivate young people of all abilities and will be able to work well in a team.
