The Romsey School is seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Art with Graphic Design from September 2023 or January 2024. Art and Design is a highly successful and popular department with 36% of pupils achieving grade 7-9 in 2022. We are proud to offer our students a rich, diverse and relevant curriculum that empowers our pupil to be confident, independent and creative thinkers.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to teach across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4;
- The ability to teach design and technology and graphic communication would be an advantage;
- Be creative, inspiring and passionate about teaching and learning;
- Be an exceptional classroom practitioner, delivering lessons that engage, challenge, motivate and inspire our students to achieve;
- Work collaboratively with all members of the Romsey School community;
- Be enthusiastic about their own professional development and growth in areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods;
