Full-time Teacher/Governor required for B7, located in Southampton, UK, from £1000 — £1600 gross per week. Live out, Start ASAP

A British family located in Southampton is seeking a highly experienced, qualified and professional Teacher/ Governor to provide educational support for their 7-year-old son during school.

The young boy has ADHD and requires a personal teacher/governor to support his learning at school.

The young boy is doing well at school, but is slowly falling behind his peers, the family are keen to find a wonderful teacher for him, who can become a great asset to his learning and help him achieve his goals.

As a teacher/governor, your main responsibility will be to support his current learning at school and attend school with him daily. Plan and provide structured classes on any topics he is struggling with and provide fun and engaging activities in line with the British curriculum. In addition to this, you will act as an appropriate role model/mentor to the boy and promote good manners, teach etiquette, support his attendance at extra curriculum classes and promote learning at every opportunity.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher/governor (PGCE/QTS/) with previous experience working in similar roles with a minimum of 2 years of experience working within UK Schools.

This is a live-out position with private accommodation provided close to the family home if required.

The working schedule will mimic the school day and will be 5 days on and 2 days off (weekends off) The working hours will be from 8 am – 4 pm. During school holidays longer days will be expected.

International travel is required.
